GREEN WHEELS - Operation, Repair and Service of Hybrid and Electric Cars

The project has developed an open source (OER) digital curriculum in the field of manufacturing and servicing hybrid and electric cars that uses state-of-the-art pedagogical methods.

The steps of modifying the framework curriculum arising during the introduction of the new curriculum were based on the EU ECVET learning outcomes approach (Training Framework in Hungary).

Project results: complex online Learning Management System (LMS), e-learning content, printed workbook, exam documents, picture, online professional dictionary, Blended Learning materials, ECVET based curriculum description.

The project recommended an ECVET-based approach to areas of automotive training related to the production and servicing of hybrid and electric cars.

Countries participating in the project: Czech Republic, UK, Slovakia and Hungary.

In all four countries, project partners of the same type worked together: a vocational training institution, a regulatory organization and groups of employers.

Hungarian project partners: Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, András Fáy Secondary School of Transport Engineering and Technology, Center for Modern Education HU.

The project was declared a European best practice by UNESCO in 2019 and made available from UNESCO-UNEVOC.

The aim of the comprehensive, interactive e-learning portal is to increase the attractiveness of vocational training by supporting professional language education in English and other foreign languages and to improve the chances of those wishing to find a job in the automotive industry by modernizing education. The portal contains a total of about 1,500 interactive exercises in English and German. The main goal of Autolanguage is to help the student in vocational or adult education to acquire technical vocabulary, to deepen and use basic grammatical structures in various communication situations related to the profession. By providing a basic technical vocabulary, it contributes to students ’safety in using professional language. The topics in the curriculum are adapted to the world of the automotive profession, car-related services and the interests of the professionals working here.

A collection of e-learning tasks in the field of automotive language teaching. In English, German, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian. Within the framework of the project, teachers of vocational training institutions teaching automotive professions as well as education professionals analyzed the needs of vocational foreign language education in vocational schools and proposed elements of a modern educational content.

VOLLnet – Vocationally Oriented Language Learning for Automotive Professionals Network

VOLLnet is a network of 23 European educational and other vocational training institutions (7 people and 16 silent partners) operating in 6 European countries (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, United Kingdom, Turkey). It aims to gather European best practices, experiences and curricula in the field of professional language learning (VOLL), with a particular focus on car repair, service and retail. The objectives of the project - in addition to creating a strong network - are to validate the results of previous successful LdV projects. Within the framework of the project, international workshops focusing on automated professions were organized with the participation of international professional trainings and teachers and other professionals involved in technical education.

Based on the methodology of the Surrounding World project, participants carry out activities in the digital space that support the development of emotional relationships between children and their environment and at the same time develop children's competencies (communication, work organization, teamwork and presentation). The project is related to the interdisciplinary and project education recommended by the National Core Curriculum.

The Center For Modern Education actively supports the work of the EIT Urban Mobility East HUB Accelerator Program. The program supports the support and development of startups operating in Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, (East) Germany, Hungary, Israel, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine. The unique 6-month program, with customized coaching / mentoring, the opportunity to participate in workshops, and the provision of office space. helps the selected startups with funding and networking opportunities. The leader of the program is ZONE Cluster Nonprofit Kft. (Hungary), the other partners of the program are SpinLab (Germany), PowerHUB (Czech Republic) and EcoMotion (Israel). CFME supports the program and organizers by organizing workshops / events, preparing professional materials, marketing and communication tasks.
